Your guest expedition
Starting a dig creates an anonymous player record and a first-party session cookie, wm_sess. The server stores answers, round timing, scores, discoveries and earned progress. This tab stores the active dig’s ID so it can resume after a refresh.
Remembering this browser
The cookie connects this browser to its guest record. Progress does not sync across browsers or devices. Clearing this site’s cookies can disconnect you from your saved progress; it does not delete the server record. Anonymous daily totals may include your result.
Accounts in this release
This release offers guest play only. It does not request your Google or Discord identity or send email sign-in links. Existing accounts and results on wormillion.com are not deleted, but their cookies cannot be read by this domain.
What others can see
Guest profiles and discoveries are available through your own session. Guest scores are not listed on public leaderboards. Aggregate daily recaps may include recorded answers after the entry window closes.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores game records. It processes connection information to serve requests and limit abuse. This release does not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts.
