The bank is not limited to names associated with sand dunes. Its entries include polar deserts as well. Read the prompt and use the named feature, rather than assuming every desert round describes the same landscape.
Remember regional names
A broad region may bring several desert names to mind. Check that the particular one you choose is in the bank and fits any geographical or spelling restriction.
Make every valid answer count
A less obscure answer is still a valid result. If time is running out, an answer you know fits is more useful than a last-second guess outside the bank.
